Book cover series

Objective: Design a series of typographic book covers using only the elements of line & shape. Create type hierarchy with minimal variation in type size and weight.

Solution: Emphasize hierarchy by enlarging title of the collection (A Survey of Modern American Architecture), and bolding the titles that are within the collection (Prairie Style, Craftsman Movement, etc.). A cascade-style of text is used for the titles to imply structure and separation.
