Vaccine Campaign

Objective: Design a campaign with poster and social media examples that encourages African Americans ages 18-35 to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

Challenge: This demographic is hesitant to get vaccinated because of events like the Tuskegee Experiment, and general concerns about side effects and its effectiveness because of the abundance of misinformation in the media.

Solution: Myself and my partner, Anna Brooks, worked on this campaign utilizing an engaging, altruistic, and empathetic design strategy with an honest investment into the communities we are targeting. This strategy will bring about a movement to protect family and community from Covid-19.

The Logo: “You Good” is a common phrase in AAVE, or African American Vernacular English. It has a variety of meanings like “how are you doing” or “are you okay?” or “you’re doing good” depending on context and punctuation.
